They were given a license to rmekae some of the old Sierra games. Kings Quest 1 & 2 have already been done several years ago, and actually resulted in increased sales for Kings Quest 7 which was still available commercially at the time.They did change their name from Tierra Entertainment to AGD (Anonymous Game Developer), though not sure if it was because Sierra didn't like the Tierra name being too close.
